Service Terms
Effective August 2, 2026
1. Seller and eligibility
House & Kin is a service of The Munshine Group, LLC. The purchaser must be at least 18 and authorized to provide all submitted materials. For nonpublic information relating to another adult, including a college student, the purchaser represents that the purchaser has that person’s permission.
2. Service scope
House & Kin converts the school and observance calendars identified in the written order confirmation into the stated importable calendar and planning deliverables. Unless expressly stated, this is a one-time calendar build, not a continuously monitored or synchronized service.
3. Sources
House & Kin uses official public sources and calendar-only materials supplied by the customer. Customers must not submit school, email or calendar-account credentials. House & Kin may decline materials containing unnecessary personal or sensitive information and request a redacted replacement.
4. Order confirmation
The confirmation identifies the academic year, schools, additional calendars, price, required source materials and estimated delivery date. Work begins after sources, scope and payment are confirmed.
5. Payment
Payment is due in full through the hosted payment page before production begins. The customer authorizes House & Kin and its payment processor to process the stated charge. House & Kin does not automatically renew or charge future years unless the customer separately orders them.
6. Cancellation and refunds
A customer may cancel for a full refund before House & Kin sends notice that production has begun. After production begins, the fee is nonrefundable except when House & Kin cannot deliver the agreed scope or materially fails to do so. In that case, House & Kin will correct the failure or refund the undelivered portion. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
7. Accuracy and later changes
House & Kin uses reasonable care to reproduce dates and details from the official sources listed in the customer’s Source Record as of the stated verification date. Schools and other institutions can change schedules later, and those changes are not automatically reflected. If House & Kin introduces an objective transcription or file-format error, correction is part of the service when the discrepancy is documented during the covered academic year. This does not include a later institutional change or an error in the source itself.
8. Customer review
The customer should compare consequential dates—including travel, payments, legal or custody matters, medical arrangements and employment commitments—with the institution’s then-current official source before acting. The customer is responsible for selecting the correct calendar account, maintaining appropriate backups and deciding whether to keep the delivered calendar as a separate layer or merge it into an existing calendar.
9. Import support
The order includes reasonable import and setup assistance requested within seven calendar days after delivery. It does not include ongoing calendar management unless separately agreed.
10. No institutional affiliation
House & Kin is not affiliated with or endorsed by the schools, colleges, calendar-platform providers or faith organizations whose public dates may be included.
11. Customer materials and permitted use
Customers retain their rights in materials they supply. House & Kin retains its methods, templates and service materials. The customer may use, edit and share the delivered files privately within the customer’s household; public resale or republication is not permitted.
12. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, House & Kin’s aggregate liability arising from an order will not exceed the amount paid for that order. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.
13. Privacy
Information is handled under the House & Kin Privacy Notice. Service providers may process information as needed to fulfill an order.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by New Jersey law, without depriving a consumer of nonwaivable protections under the law of the consumer’s state.
15. Complete agreement and changes
The order confirmation, these terms and the Privacy Notice comprise the agreement. The terms in effect when payment is made govern that order; later changes are not retroactive.
